Wide-Eyed Apollos Redux (2024-ongoing)

“….These dilated eyes of the archaic Apollo are characteristic of apprehension. They express the anxiety---the excessive awareness, the “looking about” on all sides lest something unknown might happen—that goes with living in a fomenting age.”
----Rollo May, “The Delphic Oracle as Therapist” 1968

This project is an extension of my "Demonic Nature" Series (2004, see archive, this site).
The year is 2024, and Wide-Eyed Apollo makes a return. In this ongoing series, we share Apollo's adventures as they wander the world, witnessing our most pressing fears and anxieties—surviving unscathed, in picaresque fashion, on a continuous journey.
